1) What is this blog about? Are these texts/quotes really from these Disney stars?
This blog is based on the popular site TextsFromLastNight, where people send funny, often drunk/slutty texts they receive from friends. People on tumblr have started taking various texts from the site and matching them to pictures (there are Glee ones, Disney movie ones, etc.) and we decided to start up a similar blog for Disney stars. These texts are absolutely not from them - if they were, we’d be better suited to hosting a gossip blog!
2) Can I submit a picture? What about just a text?
Absolutely! We have a submission page with guidelines for submitting, please read those through carefully. We try to make all the posts look similar with coloring and the font we use, so we’d prefer if you didn’t make the graphic yourself. You’ll be credited with a tag for every submission you make!
3) Are you looking for co-owners?
Unfortunately, we’re not. It’s not that we wouldn’t love to work with other people, but we’re kind of brain twins, so one of us can say “The picture where Nick is at the event with the tie and the stripe!” and the other person will respond “Oh yes, yes the one where he’s smirking, right?” We’re just not sure how well the system would work if someone else had to try to deal with our insanity. We love that you love the blog enough to want to join in, and encourage you to submit any ideas you have in the submission box.
4) How much time and effort goes into making these?
It depends. More than we anticipated when we started it. We’re really picky about what pictures we pair with what texts, because we never want to veer into “this text is funny, throw it on a random Disney picture” territory. Sometimes we see a text and immediately know what picture we’re going to use, sometimes it just reminds us of one particular person and we have to dig through our folders to find just the right pictures. Then the coloring and text addition happens, and voila!
5) What Disney couples and people do you like?
All couples and Disney stars you see posted on our blog! I know that sounds fake, but it’s the honest truth. If we didn’t at least kind of like a couple or a person, we wouldn’t want to post anything about them, because it would probably just be mean. And that’s really not what we’re doing here. We only mock the people we love :D
6) One of your posts offended me/went too far.
We really do apologize for that, as we mentioned above, we’re trying our best NOT to cross any lines into just being mean. Sometimes we can’t resist making say, a graphic that pokes a little fun at Justin Bieber for looking girly. The jokes are just too hard to resist. But we recognize that some people may take offense to that, and we really hope you’ll let us know in an ask if there’s anything you think we could be doing better.
